Energy codes and standards such as the ICC International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1 are available for adoption in the public and private sectors. What is actually adopted via legislation, regulation or other directives or incentives is important to designers and specifiers. The presentation will outline for commercial buildings what has been adopted and is required to be satisfied related to energy efficiency in each of the states now and what is anticipated to be adopted in the future. The presentation will also cover general updating timelines in each state and the processes used to process such updates..
